Sachuest Beach, locally known as Second Beach, is where it all began for Lauren and Kyle. It is a mile-long beach with great surf & sand. While there, be sure to grab a Del's Lemonade from the truck at Surfer's End—the west end parking lot.
Cliff Walk is one of our favorite spots in Newport. Lauren can often be found running along the 3.5 mile path. With majestic views of the coastline and the historic Gilded Age mansions, it's a must-see for everyone.
Not to be missed! Ocean Drive is a very special place for us—it's where Kyle proposed! This scenic 10-mile stretch of coastline offers breathtaking views. Start your drive near historic Bellevue Avenue and enjoy a peaceful journey with stunning sights around every turn.
Discover Newport's charm! The Newport Mansions offer a delightful journey through 250 years of history, showcasing stunning architecture, decorative arts, and landscape design from the Colonial era to the Gilded Age. Our favorites include Rosecliff, The Breakers, The Elms, and The Marble House.
Stop in for a drink on the lawn overlooking Narragansett Bay! The Lawn at Castle Hill is one of our favorite summer spots, offering stunning views, relaxed elegance, and a laid-back atmosphere. Whether it’s a sunset cocktail or a casual afternoon with friends, the Inn’s idyllic setting is perfect for unwinding and enjoying Newport's summer beauty.
In the heart of downtown Newport, Bowen's Wharf offers beautiful nautical grounds for a leisurely stroll. Admire the yachts and schooners while enjoying the scenic views. With fantastic restaurants like The Black Pearl, The Mooring, Clarke Cookhouse, and 22 Bowens, plus charming local shops, it's easy to spend a delightful day here.
As Newport's oldest locally-owned sailing company, Sightsailing offers a range of experiences, from sunset sails to private charters. No sailing experience is required—everyone is welcome aboard! As a couple passionate about the ocean, we’re thrilled to share the magic of the world's sailing capital with you. Be sure to ask for Bella!
The Pineapple Club is located at the Newport Harbor Island Resort. It’s an outdoor bar and restaurant offering stunning views of the Newport Bridge, especially at sunset. With its amazing outdoor space featuring Adirondack chairs, fire pits, and lawn games, it's the perfect spot to relax. Conveniently located next to Belle Mer, our wedding venue, it's an ideal place to have a drink and enjoy the view between our ceremony and reception.
