Kyle and Lauren’s story began on a sunny summer day in 2018. Lauren was at the Dellerman's house when she was asked to give a group of Paige’s friends a ride to Second Beach. It was during that car ride that Kyle and Lauren first met—and sparks flew. From that moment, they were both completely smitten.

Over the next year, Kyle asked Lauren out several times, but it wasn’t until June 29th that she finally agreed to a date. Kyle planned an unforgettable night—dinner at Diego’s, followed by drinks and dessert at the Clarke Cooke House. He knew exactly how to charm her, and by the end of the night, he had won her heart. The rest, as they say, is history.

In the fall of 2023, Kyle asked for Lauren's father's blessing to marry his daughter, and with his approval, he began planning the perfect proposal. He chose the day after Thanksgiving, when both of them would be home for the holiday, surrounded by family and friends.

It was a beautiful, warm fall day when Kyle took Lauren for a walk along the rocky beach across from Brenton Point Park. Lauren began skipping rocks and thought she had found the perfect one when Kyle said, "Look, I found an even better one!" When she turned around, Kyle was on one knee, holding the most beautiful diamond ring. With tears in her eyes, Lauren said YES! The moment was caught on camera by Lauren's brother, John, and Kyle's sister, Kristin, who were hidden out of sight.

After the proposal, the happy couple made their way to Lauren’s family home, where both the O’Hanley and Carosotto families were eagerly awaiting, ready to pop champagne and begin the celebrations!
